She completed her vocal studies at the Opera Studio in Stockholm and in Lied singing at the Mozarteum Salzburg under the direction of Hartmut Höll. Her repertoire includes works from the Baroque to the contemporary avant-garde and ranges from Bach’s cantatas to Ligeti’s Mysteries of the Macabre to demanding opera roles such as Konstanze (The Abduction from the Seraglio) and Olympia (The Tales of Hoffmann).
Engagements have taken her to renowned opera houses and stages, including the Norske Opera Oslo, the Finnish National Opera Helsinki, the National Theatre of Iceland in Reykjavik, the Prinzregententheater Munich, the Leipzig Opera, the Chemnitz Theatre, the Lucerne Theatre and the Bern City Theatre. In addition, she has made guest appearances in important concert halls such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Cologne Philharmonic and the Konzerthaus Berlin.

Her scientific interest is in experimental tuning techniques, innovative pedagogical concepts and curriculum development in the field of studies in the field of music colleges. Her research results have already received international recognition, including the publication of the scientific article “Measuring Voice Effects on Ingressive Singing” (2020, Journal of Voice), together with Michael Fuchs, Johan Sundberg and Lennart Pieper. The article “Towards a Collaborative Higher Music Education Curriculum: A Singer-Composer Duoethnography” will soon be published in Nordic Research in Music Education. She is currently in the final stages of her PhD at the University of the Arts Helsinki on these topics.

Later this year, she will be heard in the German premiere in a portrait concert of Lisa Streich’s “Mignon Songs” at the HfM Dresden, with Hinrich Alpers, Professor of Piano – a special example of lived artistic transdisciplinarity, in which the pianist also sings and the singer also plays the piano.
